Lemon Pickleball LTD – Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all players, please review the following terms and conditions. By booking or participating in any Lemon Pickleball Limited activity, you agree to these terms and conditions.

 

Cancellations

Socials

  • You must cancel your booking at least 24 hours in advance to change your booking or receive a refund.
  • We will accommodate booking changes within the 24-hour deadline in the case of exceptional circumstances.
  • If you withdraw with sufficient notice, your account will automatically be credited.
  • If you would like a full refund to your credit/debit card, or have any questions, please email info@lemonpickleball.com.

Courses, events and tournaments

  • For adult and junior courses, taster sessions, tournaments and events, bookings must be cancelled at least 7 days in advance to qualify for a refund.
  • For Pickleball Holidays, the deposit is non-refundable. The balance payment is refundable up until 1st September, whether you pay in instalments or in one payment.

Wet Weather

All sessions and courses will go ahead irrespective of the weather. Play will only stop in the event of heavy and continuous rain with no sign of stopping that makes the courts unplayable.
If necessary, coaches will utilise wet-weather resources to aid off-court learning.

Assumption of Risk

  • Pickleball is an active sport that requires fitness, balance, and mobility. All players must participate in sessions that are appropriate to their ability.
  • The risk of injury is significant, ranging from minor to serious injuries, including the possibility of permanent paralysis or death.
  • Protective eyewear is strongly advised to reduce risks, though serious injury may still occur.
  • By participating, you knowingly and freely assume all such risks, both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of others.

Waiver of Liability

By taking part in any Lemon Pickleball Limited activity, you agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Lemon Pickleball Limited, Pickleball England, their officers, officials, agents, employees, participants, sponsors, advertisers, and venue providers from any and all injury, disability, death, or damage to person or property arising from participation, whether due to negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Health and Fitness

It is your responsibility to ensure you are physically able to take part in pickleball activities. You should only participate in sessions that match your ability and fitness level.

Code of Conduct

Participants must play fairly, respectfully, and in accordance with the spirit of the game. If you observe any unusual or significant hazard during your participation, you must remove yourself from play and notify Lemon Pickleball staff immediately.

Safety Rules

  • Wear appropriate footwear and attire for pickleball.

  • Use equipment in good condition.

  • Warm up before playing and cool down after.

  • Follow instructions from Lemon Pickleball coaches and staff at all times.

Use of Facilities

All participants must respect the venues used for Lemon Pickleball sessions and events. This includes maintaining cleanliness, using equipment responsibly, and following any site-specific rules.

Personal Property

Lemon Pickleball Limited is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings. Participants are advised not to leave valuables unattended.

Insurance

We strongly recommend that participants have suitable personal health and accident insurance to cover potential injuries or medical expenses that may occur during participation.

Modifications

Lemon Pickleball Limited reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated through official Lemon Pickleball channels.

Acknowledgement

By ticking the acceptance box when booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions, including the waiver and assumption of risk. You acknowledge that you accept full responsibility for your participation and do so voluntarily without inducement.

Lemon Pickleball Limited – Privacy Policy

Lemon Pickleball may also receive your data indirectly from alternative sources.

Lemon Pickleball Limited collects your data so that we can:

  • You have the right to stop Lemon Pickleball Limited from contacting you for marketing purposes or sharing your data with partners.

Waiver

WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY — READ BEFORE CLICKING ACCEPT

In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in the Lemon Pickleball Limited program, its related events and activities, I, (name of participant), the undersigned, acknowledge, appreciate, and agree that:

  1.   Pickleball is an active sport that requires fitness, balance, and mobility, and will play in ability-appropriate sessions.
  2.   The risk of injury from the activities involved in this program is significant, including the potential for injuries, small and significant, including the risk of permanent paralysis and death. We advise the use of wearing goggles to protect eyes, and while particular skills, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious injury does exist; and,
  3.   I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation; and,
  4. I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation. If, however, I observe any unusual significant hazard during my presence or participation, I will remove myself from participation and bring such to the attention of the Company immediately; and,
  5.   I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASE, INDEMNIFY, AND HOLD HARMLESS Lemon Pickleball Limited and Pickleball England., their officers, officials, agents and/or employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and, if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used for the activity (“Releasees”), WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL INJURY, DISABILITY, DEATH, or loss or damage to person or property associated with my presence or participation, WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS, AND SIGN IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT.
